March 2026 16 updates

March 6 - Expanded provider network Trust
  • Six API providers now - Added CurrencyLayer and ExchangeRate-API to the fallback chain, bringing the total to 6 independent data sources and a 9-step resolution chain. More providers means better redundancy - if one goes down, the others pick up the slack.
  • Status page updated - The system status page now monitors all six providers in real time and documents the full 9-step fallback chain.
March 5 - Better alert management New Feature
  • Manage your alerts - The "My Alerts" panel now shows your notification channels (email and Telegram) with connection status, so you can see at a glance how you'll be notified.
  • Quick-add from the panel - Add a new rate alert or daily digest for the pair you're viewing without leaving the manage screen.
  • Track another pair - After creating an alert, a new link lets you immediately set up tracking for a different currency pair.
March 5 - Smarter provider comparison table New Feature Trust
  • Best value sorting - Transfer services are now ranked by lowest total cost to you, with a "Best value" badge on the cheapest option for your corridor.
  • Source links on every fee - Each provider row now links directly to its published pricing page so you can verify our fee estimates yourself.
  • More services compared - The table now includes additional transfer services for a broader, more representative comparison.
  • Verified dates - Every fee estimate shows the month it was last checked against the provider's website.
  • Five-column breakdown - See the exchange rate, fee, total cost, and amount received side by side instead of just a markup percentage.
March 4 - Public status page Trust
  • Status page - Live provider health monitoring with traffic light indicators, rate freshness data, and incident history. Shows exactly how our multi-provider fallback chain works - from TwelveData through ECB to cross-rate computation.
March 4 - Privacy and legal overhaul Trust
  • Privacy Policy - Now discloses all third-party services (Cloudflare, Postmark, Telegram) with links to their privacy policies. Added rate alert data collection, feedback storage, and Cloudflare cookie disclosures.
  • Terms & Conditions - Governing law updated to the State of Delaware. Added "as is" warranty disclaimer, no-liability-for-errors clause, severability, and stronger professional-advice disclaimer. All liability sections now reference Moneda Media LLC.
  • Affiliate disclosure - New dedicated section in Terms explaining how affiliate links work and that they don't affect the rates we display.
  • Rate alerts terms - New section covering email consent, unsubscribe rights, and delivery limitations.
March 3 - Press page and Telegram bot polish New Feature UX

  • Telegram bot fun facts - Each rate query now includes a pair-relevant fun fact (e.g. "The yen is the third most traded currency worldwide").
  • Pair-based commands - Type a pair like EUR/USD directly instead of navigating menus.
  • Privacy in Telegram - Email addresses are now masked in bot responses (r***@example.com).
